Message Board
A message board is available for posting messages to all residents who are registered users, asking questions of the WIA staff, and asking questions of the WIA board of directors.
Rules
- Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting.
- Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated.
- Members are asked to not act as “back seat moderators”. If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of the Moderator.
- Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated.
- Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or colored text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts.
- Members should use an appropriate, descriptive subject when posting a new topic.
- Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance.
- The moderating, support, and other teams reserve the right to edit, remove or put on moderation queue any post at any time. Please note that currently any post is automatically placed in the moderation queue and will be approved/disapproved according to the present Rules. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to the Moderator and not users.
- The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging
Go to Message Board
To use the message board, you will have to login. The first time you click the Login link (upper right-hand side of board), you will have to click the Register link (located under Username field) to set yourself up in the message board database. Remember to keep a record of your user name and password.
NOTE: Before you can see and use all message boards, you will have to be authenticated by the WIA Staff. Since WIA is not a 24/7 operation, authentications will take place during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.

WIA Database vs. Message/Bulletin Board
WIA has both a Resident Database (link on the top, left of every page) AND a Message/Bulletin Board (a button on the main menu at the top of the page). It is easy to think they are the same thing, but they are not.
The Database contains resident data such as name, address, phone number, e-mail, newsletter delivery preference, etc. In the future, this information will be used for USPS mailing and/or E-mailing to residents.
The Message/Bulletin Board is contains forums for residents to use to communicate their thoughts/ideas to all other residents that are signed up on the Message/Bulletin Board. The Bulletin Board will be occasionally monitored by WIA in order to understand the residents' concerns. This is a great way to communicate with your neighbors.
