Noxious Weeds
In Woodmoor, the noxious weed problem, particularly knapweed, continues to get worse each year. It can be seen in almost every area of Woodmoor and the surrounding communities. Where we used to see natural prairie grass and wildflowers, we now see knapweed. We need every resident to do their part to help control the spread of noxious weeds that are destroying the natural beauty of our community. We challenge every resident to go on a “crusade” against unwanted weeds and, as a minimum, control them in and around your property and immediate vicinity. If we all “pull” our weight, we can help reduce the spread of these nuisance weeds and greatly improve the natural beauty of our community.
