Mark your calendar to attend one of the two open houses scheduled this month. It will give you great insight and allow you to ask questions directly to the chiefs, firemen and EMS.
Empty Bowls, one of Tri-Lakes Cares largest fundraisers, is coming up on 5 Oct at LPHS. Come enjoy fabulous soups, breads and desserts and go home with a hand-crafted bowl from local artisans. Make bids on products and services donated to the silent auction. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at numerous locations around town or at the door. See the attached flyer for more details.
On August 7th is the 15th Annual Tri-Lakes Cruisers Car Show. The event is from 10am – 3pm along 2nd Street. All proceeds benefit Tri-Lakes Cares. For more information, visit www.tl-cruisers.com.
The annual Kids Fishing Derby, presented by the Tri-Lakes Lions Club, is scheduled for Saturday, 4 Jun, Palmer Lake, from 8am – noon. Elementary and middle-school aged children can participate. A limited number of rods and reels will be available. Entrance fee is non-perishable food donated to Tri-Lakes Cares. Click here to see the flyer.
